My name is Melanie Graham and I studied
at The Acupuncture Academy in Lemington Spa and hold a Professional
Licentiate
in Acupuncture, which is a three year degree qualification accredited
by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and was also Commended
for my clinical work. My training was extensive and covered all aspects
of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the five
element approach. This means that I will consider your main health
problem, together with a holistic approach to you as an individual.
Five
Element Acupuncture aims to address the root cause of the imbalance
rather than just alleviating symptoms, assisting the energy flow to
return to
its natural state of balance and harmony.
Treating the cause supports the body in its role of repairing and
resolving physical symptoms, restoring mental and emotional health
and facilitating
a greater sense of well-being.I find that this simple approach,
based on Natural Laws, has enabled me to support people not only
with physical
complaints, but also with mental and emotional difficulties.
In addition to this, I am also qualified and have 9 years experience
in Reiki healing and hold a qualification in medical Qi Gong and
trained in Moxibustion therapy too and can use these tools alongside
my treatments
as required. I have undergone post graduate training in Mental
Health, Advanced Facial Acupuncture and Musculoskeletal bodywork
techniques
and Channel Theory, effective for treating Neck, Shoulder and Lower
back pain.
